Looks like they are safe while they are in the Prem. EFL will have no jurisdiction over them.

Saw this earlier.

The deludedfisheatingsealcunts reckon Villa Park is worth more than Pride Park, because it seats more......

The real question is basis of valuation. Vacant Possession? Market Value based on Matket Rent? What are your comparibles?

Do we have a Chartered Surveyor on here who can offer an insight?

I’m no surveyor but I would imagine that a 40k historic stadium near Birmingham City Center with good links to Spaghetti Junction would be worth more than a 35k identikit stadium on a retail park outside Derby.

Yep.

Not a contest.

Unfortunately.

On that thread someone says that the Prem will have jurisdiction as the offence was carried out over a three year rolling period.

I’m pretty sure there is an agreement, not sure where I read it.

I follow the logic, but the point is nobody knows the basis of valuation that the EFL will accept. They both could be over-valued.

Would they not look at rental yield? ..ie Derby and Veela need to be paying a commercial rent and that rent would be indicative of the value of the stadium.
