I would guess they have a plan of when / how he will be introduced into the first team. 
I think they will put him on the subs bench and he may get 10 minutes in a cup game over the next couple of years.

Oh I'd imagine that he's already met all the first team players, after all he's a mad keen Vilescum fan... Hopefully he gets a serious ACL and is never heard from again.
