How can I follow Devastating2  if I've not seen Devastating1? I must of missed that.

Matthew Parris left Parliament in 1986, he's a pretty marginal figure outside the chattering classes. I'm not convinced the bleatings of a one-eyed wet Remainer writing in the leading serious Remainer paper is "devastating."

The comments make better reading TBH.

It is a devastating critique of the Tory party and you know it, its why you play the man (as usual)

Tory MP, presenter of weekend world one of the best political programs,  great pundit and respected journalist etc.

I can't think of anybody Tory or Labour that could lead this country out of the disastrous state we are currently in (getting worse by the day) apart from Blair.

I can make a devastating critique of the Tory party too Ponty. It'd be very different from Matthew's. But all the same it won't change anything.
