Cracking news, especially with Sawyers on 4 yellow cards and Livermore on 3. Also added to the volume of games we will now be playing in lead up to new year.

Any news on Gibbs? I just hope he makes it for Monday.

Gibbs has broken toe. Townsend looks capable enough

Assume Brunty on the bench ahead of the yoof.

Don’t rate Townsend personally. Gibbs a massive miss

Gibbs is a far better player than Townsend, but I think CT fits us better than KG at the moment. CT is a little more defensive oriented and will tuck in to the back 3 in the way Ferguson does. Not sure I like the idea of Gibbs on the edge of our box defending... I can see him and Furlong both bombing forward at every opportunity and that'll leave us extremely exposed.

CT is a better fullback IMO, Gibbs is far more of a wingback.

Wouldn't disagree.

Townsend is a competent Chump defender.
