Retrospective punishment for diving

Approved by the FA but only if there is a penalty or red card resulting from the dive. It's a start I suppose.

It's a good move but fugg me do the FA drag their heels on matters of import. Next step should be firmer action on dissent.

I cant see this working. The first dubious case will be contested and could go legal. I doubt diving could be proved beyond doubt either way.

Equally pathetic is the need for players to writhe around always holding their faces when the contact ( if any ) was usually
in the area of the metatarsal
