The Cowley Bros...

Just had a nose on the Hudds message board, they all seem to be bought into their methods and some already claiming they're better than Wagner!

Amazing how some people seem to be able to lift the whole mood around a club in a matter of weeks. Moore obviously gave the whole place a lift last year, but even that is nothing compared to what Slav seems to have brought.

Before Slav, who was the last manager you can remember causing such an immediate stir? Whilst Megson undoubtedly transformed the club, his arrival was decidedly muted.

To be fair, no need to delve into history. What Moore did was incredible. We were heading down in a worse way than our worst season in 86. He took us to the last week of the season. In a way finishing bottom did him a disservice.

Moore gave us some pride back when the club had hit rock bottom, he should take plenty of credit for getting us back on our feet. Slavs done great and it’s an exciting time but Moore’s uplift was quite something.

Correct.

The club was at war with itself when he took over and we were in serious danger of doing a Sunderland.

Big Ron the first time around was like a breath of fresh air. Admittedly he had quality players already here, but he developed a style of play the players obviously loved, and was a great man manager....just like Slaven.

Johnny Giles. The lift post Don Howe was terrific - even though Don Howe sorted the defence. And the sublime football, playing out from the back was almost before its time.
