Even so the oncoming economic downturn is another reason to do it now

Easter was in March last year, this year in April.

Probably accounts for some of it.

Wait and see how the April figures compare

They were blaming the poor results in March because of Easter Big Grin
I do agree though a better picture will be gained overtime but not looking good.

It'll be ironic if UK leaves the EU market when it's struggling and the EU is seeing the strongest growth in years.

Retail figures up 2.3% - apparently because of Easter and good weather - Just saying  Big Grin

I am a Tory through and through but find the latest manifesto utterly contemptible. The arrogance is mind blowing and some of the proposals ( winter fuel/school lunches} are just plain fucking mean and do not yield any substantial gains.
Unfortunately we know Labours promises will screw the economy as they always do, but they do sound tempting on paper, again as they always do.
Corbyn is a basket case leading a party full of knobs and May is a egotistical storm trooper, with no moral conscience. The rest are like Villa and Wolves..irrelevant. What a fucking mess we are in.
