Jesus, we've put up with some utter shyte since 1985!

Yes, it was around 1985 that we signed Gerry Armstrong and George`Rambo` Reilly. Nether could trap a bag of cement.

To be fair old Gerry was about 200 when we signed him

Mother Reilly may as well have played in high heels. Fugging disaster

Was that the last time that the team sheet read like a bunch of 1940's fighter pilots?

I have a vague memory of him injuring himself (a hamstring) doing a back heel at Meadow Lane. He may have just injured himself and I dreamed it whilst doing a back heel!  He loved a back heel did that fella.

Worst eleven and no mention of Winston White? Seems a nice fella but I think we were the only club in nigh on 20 years to pay a fee for him, pre Bosman!  Cheers Bobby - get your eyebrows plucked you wanker.

I remember when we were so bad that when Reilly got injured everyone was counting down the weeks for him to return as our saviour!

Your memory serves you well. I think he lasted about 5/6 minutes before he limped off, we lost 3-2 and I think Paul Devlin scored twice. He was linked with us a few times but never signed. You will note Winston White is in that team!
