Along with the many TV recommendations coming during pre-season, I was after sommat to watch last night and came across a film called Ray & Liz which drew my attention as it was clearly British looking at the poster. Checked out the trailer and started watching it immediately as I heard Midlands accents.
I love a film that is beautifully shot but the nostalgic (if dank/depressing) setting also brought back so many memories which luckily enough wasn't too close to my own upbringing. There's a scene that had to be Dudley Zoo and the end credits confirmed it was shot in Dudley and Cradley Heath.
I wish I could tell everyone where to stream it legitimately but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere having watched it on the Loki addon in Kodi. However the company website that own the rights gives more info if you want to wait it out (or watch it now & purchase later) here.
