If Jenkins had done anything near to the extent that the Swansea board have done then the A41 all the way from West Brom town centre to Handsworth would have effigies of both Jenkins and Lai hanging from every lamppost. We have stalled, they are borderline asset stripping.

Swansea made £35 million on transfers last season, where as we made £12 million. We need to make £22 million this season to tread water.

Where on earth have you got that figure about us from?!

Swansea had to make that money because they were losing £million pounds a week. A week. They went down with players on £120k a week - no flexdown.

We are nowhere near in that kind of situation.

The transfer figures came from www.transfermarket.co.uk ? As our parachute payment drops £10 million this year to remain in the same area we need £12 + £10 = £22 million.
