2-0 up at Hull... looks like playing a weakened side may well have been the right decision!

Not if it means we finish 5th and have to play the 2nd leg away?

I don’t think it matters a great amount tbh.

35/58 finalists in championship play off played the 2nd leg at home. Not sure if this is 3rd and 6th bias though.

Neither do I really...

Villa's 10 wins are a great achievement, but their fixtures have been kind. They've played 3-4 sides on terrible runs, and have had a few matches against the lower half teams, and have had their fair share of decisions go for them. Sheff Wed and Bristol the only time they've faced sides in form.

They don't look like scoring lots of goals and give the opposition a fair few chances in games, if Gayle can keep up his current form they'll be good (if nervy) games!

Exactly. It doesn’t really matter.

Given 3rd place wins them over half the time, it's probably helping.

Correct.

I actually think I’d prefer doing them over in the first leg at home and putting the pressure on their big fan base and frustrating them during a night time second leg at VP.
