The point is my list contains people who you vilify purely for being Tories last week, this week you defend them based on the wind up you think is funny.

So the will of the people was to leave with a deal that is worse than the deal we currently have by a country mile. If you did vote for that scenario you are the King of Clarnets.

Like I say I think there are problems with a second referendum, but being anti democratic and against the will of the people is not one of them.

That said as has already been detailed due to the demographic shift in the country a vote now on the same question - and if everyone voted the same way - would lead to remain as the winner simply because all the old fogies who wish it was 1955 and still think the British Empire exists will have passed away.

I have a vision of Teresa May stood behind her lectern, mummified with a Downing Street advisor announcing the 43rd
meaningful vote

Would it be simpler if we just got the other 27 countries to leave instead.

The only group who want to give the country a final say are the indi group. Not the long as you agree with Jezza and Momentum party. Comrades rejoice.

I am not a big fan of a second referendum but think the argument that it deliberately seeks to overturn the will of the majority is so much nonsense.

If a second referendum results in a vote for Brexit it confirms the will of the people as it was in 2016. If there is a majority for remain it still reflects the will of the people, but would demonstrate that the people have changed their mind since 2016.

Like I say I think there are problems with a second referendum, but being anti democratic and against the will of the people is not one of them.

No fan either of the second referendum and if it were to go ahead getting the question right is crucial, but knowing the gene pool we live in relatively well I think I can assume many remainers would still vote remain and many leavers would vote leave even though they have now heard how crap that deal is going to be.

The only valid referendum now would be between which type of deal do we want, rather than a 'remain' option. I wish we would just leave with no deal and get on with it, i'm sure as a nation we could deal with the immediate issues. We have plenty of money in this wonderful country of ours, it just isn't spent efficiently!

I agree that we will most likely have less money in the immediate term but that we have the creative nous within our country to do better and bounce back and especially if we can genuinely look to create a better society and spend money efficiently. We could ditch HS2 to start with and give that money to small innovative start ups focused on selling to all our commonwealth friends plus developing economies and current trading partners. So let's leave now and suffer a little to potentially gain a lot.
