Why would he be? He isn't available, probably not remotely interested.

Martinez is a shocking manager, you are the minority in football now Cuzer, most consider him pretty poor and there is genuine shock he has got this job.

Martinez = 1 relegation, 1 lost cup final.

Pulis = 1 promotion to the PL, 1 lost cup final.

Not much between them really.

Like Rodgers seems to have this belief that if you have a philosophy then you must stick to it whatever happens.

It is a pure fact, you win leagues by being strong defensively first and foremost, this has been proven time and time again. Once you know you can defend well then it's about scoring goals. You also have to be reactive to opposition tactics, prepared to change your formation and style during a game when the opposition forces you, which means players who are capable of playing different styles. This is even MORE important in international management where attacking fluidity is hard to find and you often rely on individual genius in attack, and do what you can to drill a defensive shape in the short time the manager has the players. Martinez is woefully ill equipped for international management or top flight management, as will be shown in short time.
