We have t seem a penny, on the upside we haven’t been saddled with any debts by Lai.  If he’s borrowed to buy us then he may want a return (maybe a dividend) to pay his borrowing costs.  He may also wish to generate as much cash as he can (player sales etc) and dividend that out too to make good the shortfall in our value.

Once the parachutes have gone we’re worth what? £40m-ish in today’s market.  Wolves went for £45m with little debt or ffp issues, we own the ground at least.

He can only dividend it out if there are available profits to distribute.   The 2017/8 accounts are eagerly awaited!

I'm not sure what our undistributed reserves look like.  He can certainly get his hands on that, unless he made Baldy take it out.  Paying cash to buy reserves never makes sense to me, although works for the seller.

Selling players to generate a profit and a squeeze costs may be the order of the day.

Exactly.  The undistributed reserves figure is crucial - all to be revealed in the accounts. If they still exist then yes player sales could generate cash to actually pay out those accumulated reserves.  Without such reserves then he’s got a problem.

Of course any dividends paid out would also mean a juicy dividend for the 12.2% minority shareholders.

The accounts will reveal all.
