The knowledge that it boils Sols piss makes it worth every penny.

What’s it like mate? That the new 68 reg?

It is.

Very nice early impressions tbf, I’ve only  had it a week but it’s already a firm favourite in terms of comfort and economy.

The Bm's seem to pish all over Merc's as regards economy. Most of our company cars are Bm's (until you reach the upper echelons of management).

The interiors always look poor though compared to similar specc'd mercs. Although I'd imagine with the M-Sport it's the full leather package?

It’s basically been decked out with an obsessively exfoliating cow.

Lovely cars.

I’ve got a 420 M Sport, and it’s the most fun car I’ve had for a long time. MPG isn’t as bad as I expected, and now it’s X-drive meaning snow and ice isn’t an issue.

I’ve never really been fussed about cars, but having had an Audi prior to this, the BMW is head and shoulders above it IMVHO.

Weighs a lot with 3 litre diesel and was superb in the snow last winter.

I'd quite like an Aston Martin.

There is something about an Aston that doesn't immediately say 'wanker' in the way that certain other brands might.

Be a bit wasted on somebody who dislikes driving as much as I do though.

Ridiculously rich wanker?

This. And added to it you know you’ll be faced with dealing someone whose default answer to any question is bullshit.

I own a Citroen that I pretty much bought by mistake. 99% of this thread has gone completely over my head.

Hi - agreed ref internal comfort and spec of Merc’s v BMs. I’ve got a C Class AMG and it pisses all over the 5 series M inside.

It's the only way to buy a Citroen. It happened to me once as well.
