Pretty much nailed it with that post.

Automatic promotion requires two points per game, give or take, so we’re three points off the pace. Not too bad, as long as we improve rather than regress.

Performances have been a real mixed bag. Good going forward, worryingly poor at the back. QPR was very good but the scroreline flattered us a bit. Stoke was excellent and the scoreline could have been more emphatic. Norwich was the best and worst of us. Boro was unfortunate. Forest was generally poor but we toughed it out and could have won it. Bolton was naive. Tonight was dogshit and we were lucky to get a point.

Truth be told, we could still go any which way this season. Two very winnable home games coming up and we really could do with capitalising on them.

No, a bit off the pace plus some terrible performances to boot.

Tonight was desperate in a very winnable away game (we hardly looked like we wanted to get our best players involved to win the game tonight) and puts pressure on our home games.

3 pens scored and 5 points worse off ... Forest & Blues should have beaten us, so very lucky to be where we are on points

Performances and Moores inability to make the right decisions make me believe we're very unlikely to. get promoted this season

I went tonight and against Forest and have had good money on us going up (so not a negative arm chair moaner) but thought tonight was shockingly bad in the main. Worrying tactics

Points return and performance wise - below par at this stage. Our position in real terms when everyone plays this weekend will tell us more

If it's a question of how many points we should have based on the performances then it's D L D W L W L. Which is 8 points
