Aston Villa Football Club suspends CEO Keith Wyness less than a fortnight after Championship play-off final defeat and amid suggestions that HMRC has served a winding-up order against Villa, one of England's oldest professional football clubs, for missing tax payment.

HMRC does aggravated winding-up orders to get to the front of the queue cos they aren't preferential creditors anymore - often it's arm-twisting to get the payment.  The Seals may already be on a time to pay arrangement and this is one that was missing.

They will probably find the money but it goes to show.....
