This relates to PSHE lessons and only applies to the source of the materials, it seems like a non-story designed to be a red herring in all honesty.
Personally, I'm don't find it appropriate that BUF or BCP materials should be used for PSHE lessons.

Can understand the logic behind the banning of extreme stances as long as it doesn't detract from learning about communism or socialism.
We would benefit enormously from expanding the curriculum to include: -
- negative impacts of British Empire and slavery.
- Irish history

You can't expand the curriculum other bits would have to drop out.

Good, my bad. Out of interest how long has it been on the curriculum? My history lessons were all Romans, Tudors, wasn't the war great etc.

Good, my bad. Out of interest how long has it been on the curriculum? My history lessons were all Romans, Tudors, wasn't the war great etc. Romans, briefly and Tudors for GCSE still taught. Slavery been taught, at least where I worked, for at over 11 years.

I can not speak for what happened before I started there or for how long! (although I can say I updated some really grubby S.E.N. resources)
It was going to be 'At Least 11 years' or 'Over 11years'
(Dangerous precedent set )
All good then. It seemed a little explicit for me. Capitalism... Why not extreme socialism, climatism or any other alternative to the ruling elite's controlling tool of use?
