I wouldn’t be so sure. Maybe a compromise can be met. Not to mention we’ve got some huge wages off the books (HRK, Austin, Grosicki).

Yup over last 12 months we’ve earned about £2m from academy players…

If you extend that to 24 months, then it's more like £6m +, which sounds a heck of a lot better (would be more were Barcelona to pay their dues!)

Let's not  also forget that in the current market O'Shea must be worth £10m+. We are still waiting on Fergusons money (Palace bid £12m) and we sold Morgan Rodgers to Man City for £4m.

Our Academy has done a cracking job imo.

The academy has done well and it needs to as back in 2013 the overheads first the academy were £2.5m per year.

12m for that charity-scamming, nos-inhaling waster as well.

Depends, I'd say. Can he get a deal with Prem wages anywhere? What's his contract situation presently? I'd guess if we wanted him we could do a deal depending on those two questions. The new manager will come with his own ideas and doesn't bring either affinity or obligations, with players past or present. I'd like to see Okay at the Albion but who knows what the new guy wants?
