I started watching it as usual on the first day. By the second day i gave up. Just not the same without various pissed up Pink Panthers/Cavemen/Homer Simpsons chanting ya-ya's.

I felt like that initially, but I'd watched some PDC matches already without crowds, so not really bothered.

Anyway, you should be watching the match not some pissed up Dutch bloke dressed as dildo.
