This government are by far the worst bunch of politicians we have ever had, and what makes it worse is that it was always the case - they spent 4 years lying through their back teeth on Brexit and although the lies were obvious and everyone could see them people still voted for them. There are still people that will defend them because they will deliver the holy grail of Brexit despite all the damage that will do - it becomes comedic when IDS starts saying this withdrawal agreement (the one he pushed for and cheered when it was voted through) is damaging to the country. They are fucking morons of the highest calibre, and yet people will still vote for them and say 'we won' - those people have won fuck all apart from damaging the country causing years, if not decades, of problems.

Blair was a fool over Iraq, Boris makes him look like Mandela by comparison.

Not this nonsense again, have a look at how many Tory MPs voted to go to war and then try and bluff your way to suggesting we would have told the US they were on their own.

Nice try at deflection though.

You need to stop reading Facebook for your information, but I'm glad that you appear to be siding with Jeremy Corbyn on whether or not we should have gone into Iraq.

Just for info:

British deaths in Iraq war - 179
British deaths as a result of covid - 55,000

Total deaths in Iraq war - Civilians, 208,167; Coalition forces, 4,809; Insurgents, 26,405;
Total deaths from Covid (to date) - 706k

The world economy has stopped because of Covid. Wars have been happening somewhere in the world every day since the end of the 2nd world war, Iraq was just another war. Vietnam, Suez, Iraq - Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, all across Africa, Cambodia - why such focus on Iraq?

As for destabilising the Middle East - you probably need to look at the history of the region to understand when it was stable. The current situation there can be traced back to Afghanistan and probably well before the Afghan war you are thinking about.

Don’t be so believing of Facebook and do some reading into history
