If Lincoln agree, yes. Its only an interview. I presume compo would be discussed if Cowley is then the first or second choice, after interviews.

For some reason, maybe because houghton has turned his nose up at it, I get the feeling that we want Cowley, and the shortlist story is a safety net if he/we decide against it. Probably his to lose.

He supposedly has a release clause so if we've said to Lincoln we'll definitely pay the £500k then the club is open.

Video I posted on the Shortlist fred is interesting.

Suppose it doesn't really say much as we knew he was on the shortlist anyway. Except that despite the pant wetting last week he "doesn't NOT" fancy it.

RE: Opened talks with Cowley - Statto - 05-21-2019

We met Hughton last Monday, so I assume that he wouldn't have been on the shortlist if he wasn't interested.

That's not to say he isn't keeping his options open e.g. He may want to go to Boro but would take ours if he didn't get it. I have no evidence for saying that, but he'd be mad not to check out all of his options.

Worrying if he did choose Boro over us surely ?

RE: Opened talks with Cowley - Lightnin - 05-21-2019

Hughton wants a top league job.

TBF, Gibson seems a decent guy to work for and always backs his manager with a few quid.

If Cowley is the best we can come up with then I am quite concerned.
