Villa accounts... - SW4Baggie - 02-09-2021

The new owners have ploughed in £400M since buying them, and they lost over £110m in their Champ promotion season.

Good to see FFP is standing firm!

Excellent news. Seals are not cheap.

And all that matters to their fanbase is they are back in their dominant position as the Midlands top club. Modern football is shit, corrupt and full of crap- they could so easily be Sheff Weds now, had we beaten them in a penalty shootout.

The only saving grace, as we continue our yo-yo existence is they missed the gravy train when the oil rich were looking for clubs. They're forever stuck in the early 80s harking back to it like Boy George on a Saturday night Channel 4 documentary.

They will claim most of this was in promotion bonuses, so doesn't count towards FFP.

I reckon they have 'Arry's Dog as accountant.

Correct. The Big Six are the Big Six and they aren't looking for new members.

Not sure exactly where those figures are pulled from (not saying they are wrong) but does this also include any money that put in to acquire the ground as well? Believe the sale value may have been around the 60m mark
