Foo Fighters
Foos are a bit of a strange one, they do what they do brilliantly, but they only really do one thing. Every album they sucker me in with an ace single or two then the albums are forgettable at best (except Wasting Light recently, that was pretty good).
That said, All My Life is a brilliant rock song.

They are a bit of a one trick pony but its a fine trick and they're amazing fun live. I saw them when I was 15 not long after One by One came out and it was great. Dave grabbed some guys wheel chair from the front and did laps of the NIA singing from the chair
(all consensual I hasten to add)The first 3 tracks from There is Nothing Left to Lose were part of my formative musical education as they were on the various tv/radio rock shows constantly. I think Breakout is my probably my favourite of those though its a close call between DOA and the Pretender for all time favourite. I'll go with DOA.
