None survived into preservation, but there was a project to build a new one from scratch, as they did with Tornado. Obscure fact: one of that class was named Arlington Court, which is now the name of a cul-de-sac in Oldswinford and which backs onto the Town/Junction branch. The loco bearing that nameplate would almost certainly have passed through the old Hawthorns station at some point during its working life. |
